There is a huge myth that millennials don't care. That the younger generation doesn't get involved in fighting injustice, yet rather engage solely in "slacktivism." This bogus term is defined as "actions performed via the Internet in support of a political or social cause but regarded as requiring little time or involvement, e.g., signing an online petition or joining a campaign group on a social media website."

Though I will attest that the younger generation's online media presence might be a bit misleading in terms of the tangible activism, I must say that I believe our generation is the most engaged and involved when it comes to fighting oppression and injustice. This statement is grounded in Fact and Science. You're welcome.
